About The Little Pearl Company

The Little Pearl Company is part of The Children's Jewellery Company which was launched in 2008. We set up this luxury range, following repeated requests from customers for "keepsake" jewellery.

We wanted to keep the values of The Children's Jewellery Company, so the pearl necklaces and bracelets are designed with small pearls and clasps perfect for little arms and necks. We have said it before but, we want our jewellery to look like jewellery for children, not like they have borrowed it from mum!
Having said that, The Little Pearl Company now offers matching necklaces and bracelets for mums and grandmothers, which would make a wonderful family gift.

The pearls used in the jewellery are freshwater pearls. They are from freshwater mussels farmed mostly in China. They come in many colours and shapes. With this in mind every necklace and bracelet will be unique, as each pearl will vary in shape, size, colour and markings. This is not a flaw but part of the beauty of real pearl jewellery!
All of the metal parts such as the clasps and extension chains are sterling silver.
Each item is carefully handmade to your specifications.
